But I made a commitment not to <em>Break the Chain<\/em>&#8212; something I blogged about <a href=\"https:\/\/k-tock.com\/?p=56\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">earlier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, things did not work out as we had intended.<\/p>\n<p>My son, Kaelen Grant McClintock,&nbsp;was stillborn on June 1, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Stillborn.<\/p>\n<p>Not a word I thought would have such an impact in my life.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, I&#8217;ve broken the chain.<\/p>\n<p>I still want to write.&nbsp;And&nbsp;I have managed to write a little since it happened. Some writing of screenplays, but&nbsp;mainly memories of the nine-month journey&nbsp;we had with our son. So still. So peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow the sun rises each morning; second still follows second, but life is numb.
