The Marza Story Circus Competition is running again, and they’re looking for entries.
If you’ve got a high-concept story to develop into a feature length animated film for family audiences, then head on over to the competition site.
One of the good things about the competition is that you don’t submit a completed script. Instead, you will need a solid logline and a one page synopsis.
Another good thing is that there is 1,000,000 in prize money if you win. Yep, that’s a one with six zeroes. The bad news is that it is a million Yen – so that is a somewhat smaller figure in dollars.
Still, it equates to an option on your script of about $12,500 Aussie dollars (putting it at a similar figure in US dollars).
Anyway, the closing date for submissions is November 15, so get your thoughts together and enter – after all, you can’t score if you’re not in the game.
